Thinning hair is among the most common cosmetic concerns for men and some women. PRP can have a fantastic result of increasing the number of active hair follicles and enhance hair growth. This works in the area of thinning hair but does not work where the scalp has lost all hair and the skin is shiny, otherwise, it can provide incredible regrowth and regeneration.

For some people, hair regrowth can be significant with PRP microneedling. At Spero Medical & Aesthetics we use a gentle local anesthetic to numb the scalp prior to treatment and then apply the PRP by injection and microneedling.

Patience is required – it can take at least 2 treatments and 9 months to start seeing results.
